The Marvel Universe is being torn apart. The Superhuman Registration Act becomes law and Super Heroes must register as weapons of mass destruction, becoming licensed government agents. As Civil War is stirred, Iron Man leads the Pro-Registration side while Captain America spearheads the stand on Anti-Registration. The enemies you battle and the missions you accomplish depend on which side you choose.

Of course, not everyone agrees with that. So it creates a division between the heroes who come into a serious dispute of interest. All this story is told very well during the game and will interfere in the destiny of history. The playable characters will also change depending on which side you decide to support the course of history.

I recommend this game more for the fans of the series or the heroes of Marvel. Casual gamers may feel bored with the repetition and lack of charisma of the game and a weak AI.
